Individual Counselling

60 MINUTES $135

I see individual counselling as a process that supports people to resolve personal, social, or psychological challenges and difficulties. Counselling provides an opportunity to receive one-on-one support and experience growth during challenging times and issues such as: maladaptive behaviour, anger, anxiety, depression, grief, marriage or work relationship challenges, parenting problems, trauma, career changes, etc.

The therapeutic relationship is an important part of this process as it enables trust and personal growth to occur. When I work with people in individual counselling, we explore explore thoughts and  beliefs, feelings, and behaviors. This includes identifying aspects in life that  that are impacting on functioning, for people to gain a better understanding of themselves and others, set personal goals, and work toward the desired change.
